Li’l Andy began recording his first full-length album on a 4-track recorder at the age of 18.
Since that time, he has become known for his experimental, vintage approach to making records.
From recording the hushed, pedal-steel-based All Who Thirst Come to the Waters in Montreal’s famous Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral, to the live-off-the-floor analogue wildness of While the Engine Burns, to the Cohenesque vocal reverb of All The Love Songs Lied To Us, each album explores a different mode of capturing sounds and songs.
